Principal’s Note

Thank you to the families that were able to donate to our fundraising campaign. Our school will put all of these funds to use, targeted at enriching your child’s academic and school experience.

If you haven’t looked at the donation website yet, please consider checking it out and donating this week. We have currently raised  over $37,000 of our $50,000 goal. The fundraising deadline closes this week on 10/20, so there is still time to contribute to the Bagley Fundraising Campaign.

3rd-5th grade Student Climate Survey

Daniel Bagley will be gathering student climate data in order to gain a deeper understanding of each of our students’ experiences of climate, connection and support. Seattle Public School Students in grades 3-12 complete a survey to share their feedback and reflections. Examples of questions include:

  • My teacher believes I can do great things.
  • I feel like I belong in my classroom.
  • I’m sure that I can learn everything taught in math.

Appreciations

Each week we share appreciations for our staff and adult community at Bagley in the Nectar News video. We would love it if families wanted to take some time to share a shout out: Bagley Appreciations

Wednesday Clubs Volunteer

Our students have identified some clubs that they would love to get started during the school day, including bracelet club, book club, garden club, and learn a language club. We need additional adult supervision for all of their great ideas! If you are available to supervise a student led club on Wednesdays from 11:15-12:45, please email Angela Clement amclement@seattleschools.org. There is no preparation necessary. The students are in charge of their materials and organizing the club. The volunteers need to have a Category B volunteer status and they would be supervising only. Thanks for considering!
