Principal’s Note

We hope you and your family get to enjoy some extra sleep and time together during our time off from school! We wanted to remind you of some upcoming events and more as you head into break.

Winter Swap Market and Movie Night

Please consider setting aside some gently used items for our Winter Swap Market on Friday, December 1st at 6 PM. We will have a cart on the playground during drop off and pick up all next week for you to place your items. We also encourage families to join us on Friday evening to drop off items and ‘shop’ for free items while your children watch the PTA sponsored movie, Encanto, and snack on some goodies.

Snow Days Plan

In order to minimize lost school days in the event of snow or other inclement weather, SPS will have all schools transition to online learning. In your child’s yellow folder you will find a translated letter sharing:

• Your child’s individualized login for SPS accounts
• Directions to find the virtual meeting link for your classroom
• A school schedule in the event we need to transition online

Please let your teacher know if you have any questions or internet needs.

Appreciations

Giving Circle

Thank you! All of the Amazon Wish List items for our 43 children have been fulfilled. We are still in need of some gift cards. Please look here if you may be able to support this need:  Sign up to purchase a $25 gift card from Fred Meyer Gift cards will go directly to a family for groceries or other needed items. Fred Meyer gift cards can be purchased at the store or ordered online and sent to your home (allow additional time for shipping), then deposited in the Giving Circle gift card collection box in the school office until November 29.

Thanks so much for your time and consideration for volunteering in the lunchroom or office from 10:30-12:30! Sign up to volunteer in the lunchroom or office.
