Bagley Families,

It was so fun to see our math brains and bellies working hard at our Pi Day event last week! Thanks to all of the generous families that brought a pie to share and to our PTA and families for the pizza and volunteer support for our event. Our first Pi Night won’t be our last!

Our school staff would also like to share our gratitude for the parent community’s generous donations to the PTA grant. For next school year we have slotted $55,000 in PTA grant funding for our Office Assistant, Librarian and Hourly supervision. In addition, $16,000 from a separate PTA grant will fund one additional day of Instrumental Music. Through separate school budgets we were also able to fund some additional staffing for our nurse and intervention positions.

I know there are lots of details involved in budget planning. Please let me know if you have any questions or clarifications about grant funding.

Reading with Rover

Reading with Rover, would you like to have your dog be a reading dog? Our school is starting a Reading with Rover program and we wondered if your dog would like to be a part of it? Please learn more about Reading Rover service dogs here.

Spirit Wear

Order Spirit Wear Here: This will be the last sale of this school year, so don’t delay!

• order tees, sweatshirts, and pj pants for kids and adults
• store closes end-of-day (midnight) on Sunday, March 31st  
• all items are made to order, so there are no exchanges or refunds 
• a portion of every sale comes back to the Bagley PTA
• Jenny will pick-up orders (about 3 weeks after store closes) from the shirt shop- orders can be picked up on her porch, delivered to you (if you live close), or delivered to your child at Bagley.
